Crescent Tool

I have some Crescent tools in use from a very long time ago. I think when our company purchased them, it was a much different company. I have some newer models which don't seem to have the quality of the older stuff. Just my opinion. Crescent doesn't seem to have the market presence they used to have. We still purchase their products, but not as frequently as Snap On and Craftsman.

Strengths: American made forged adjustable end wrenches and pipe wrenches. We have some in our repair tool inventory which are over 3 decades old. Chrome and bare iron finishes. Provide good fastener tightening. They have many more tools available then what we are using. Just don't bother to purchase them. Widely available.

Needs to improve: Price to quality not as good as other brands. Smaller selection as well. Decent warranty, but getting it filled is more difficult.

Customer service, warranty program are awsome. Tools not so good. Sorry guys

Strengths: I can tell you Crescent has a great warranty on there tools, the employees are very friendly and helpful.

Needs to improve: The actual tools them selves are what I have a problem with. I have been using snap-on for the past 5 years and I figured let me give Crescent a try. There prices are great and they have a great warranty. Sorry to say the tools are no good. It is a hassel to constantly have to be ordering warranty replacements.

We use adjustable wrenches from Crescent Tool in our R&D department, Manufacturing, CSI, Facilities, etc... Best thing about the adjustable wrenches is they can be used when I have a variety of different size nuts and do not want to have to keep reaching for a different tool. It is a real time saver, they also have a drawback due to their size, tend to be bigger than a regular wrench due to the adjustable part. Limited use for applications.

Needs to improve: I find that they DO NOT work for every application, always have to readjust/tweak for every repeatable procedure - if the tool has been around a while. Hard to get them to replace if they are really old.

AS we expanded the facilities at my company we were in need of sourcing new equipment for the employees. We looked at other companies but found the price to be excessive and then we landed on Crescent Tool. The quality of their tools were on par with other manufacturers, but they were able to work with us to make sure we weren't overpaying for tools or specialized equipment we didn't need. This made it very cost effective for us to supply our employees. As stated the tools were good quality and the employees have come to depend on them. Follow up orders have been easy and their service department is great. Would highly recommend Crescent Tool.

I have been using their tools for a long time so I know what I am expecting from them. They are very consistence with their quality and durability.

Strengths: Crescent Tools is one of our approved source for power and hand tools we use through-out our facility A Well Established company that has been around a long time. I personally have dealt with them for over 10 years. Pricing is competitive depending what you sourcing. We have an account with their distributor and we get an additional discount on what we purchase which makes it very tempting for some of our departments with tight budgets. The quality is fair and good for it's price.

Crescent supplies our company with hand tools that we use in our production line. They also provide many power tools that we use in our machine shop. Their tools are of high quality and they have a wide selection to choose from. Easy to use and they have a great warranty on their products with an exchange program that makes getting your tools replaced easily without question. We heavily use their tools at our facility and its safe to say they definitely take a good amount of abuse before you should see any type of failures. Pricing is fair and shipping is quick.

Everyday we use their hand tools in our facility and they work really well for us and we are happy with the product we received .they are dependable and are high quality for us we can tell just by the look of them .We have recommended them to other companies who are in need and when we are asked where we have received them from we never hesitate to let others know we got great service through Crescent tool.and we will continue to do so.

Crescent Tool supplies our company with a wide selection of reliable hand tools for our production line. We have various machinery that needs retooling once in a while and we have used Crescent tools to accomplish these tasks. The tools are built great and consistently reliable. In addition, the warranty on the tools give us additional assurance that we have nothing to worry about. The staff at Crescent is also very knowledgeable and friendly, helping us to find the right products. Great vendor, will order again!

We currently us Cresent brand tools on our assembly line. We mostly us their wrench sets for our assembly needs. Very well built, nice and sturdy these hand tools will definetley last you a long time. They also come with a lifetime warranty which is great and eventually saves you money. Very high quality hand tools that really makes our jobs a lot easier to do you really could not ask for a better tool. Always satisfied with their hand tools.

A reliable vendor for both hand tools. My staff raves about the hand tools we use in our machine shop as they are very sturdy and comfortable to use. We are also pleased to see that they have a great warranty for their products. We have not purchased power tools from Crescent, but have so had a good experience with the more compact hand tools, and will try their power tools next time.

Our machine shop loves ordering all our power and hand tools through Crescent Tools. Not only do they provide quality products they always offer nice warranties. They have an amazing customer service who has always made ordering in bulk fun and easy for us. The tools we have ordered through out the years have hardly any wear on them. That really shows the quality of their products! We strongly recommend checking them out!

Crescent tool supplies my work with great quality hand tools such as crimpers, pliers, screwdrivers and torque drivers. I use their tools on a regular basis on the assembly line to build medical devices. Long lasting hand tools. Very easy to grip and use. Conforms to our manufacturing specifications. Highly satisfied with the efficiency of the tools. Excellent and knowledgeable customer service staffs.

Our shop has been contracting with Crescent Tool recently, A lot of our tools have been breaking down on us, slowing production. We have ordered a full set with some custom orders. No problem for them, they were very understanding and nice. They ship very fast!

Our default source for any related to tools. Crescent supplies us with tools we need to make sure our assembly runs smoothly and efficiently. For the most part, the Crescent tools our shop has purchased are pretty good and have worked great. Their sockets on the other hand....I don't use cheap sockets, but Crescent's socket (1) is the only one I've ever broken. Other than their sockets, their other tools have been great.

I have used the Crescent brand of wrenches in every shop I've worked at from automotive to medical device. They are the standard in adjustable wrenches. Very high quality and durable. Not unlikely to see a crescent wrench that is 30+ years old.
