Dell is great at providing large network infrastructure and computers for an office. They consistently offer great customer service though the only problem is pricing for individual purchases. Bulk purchases seem to be get better pricing.

Strengths: Wide selection of products, customer service, detailed quotas and quick service.

Needs to improve: Pricing on individual purchases.

We were able to place the order with our rep easily and setting up a premier account made it easier to reorder.

Strengths: Dell is great for buying in bulk and getting the systems to you quickly.

Needs to improve: Sometimes support takes a while to get to, but they rarely need to be contacted.

i have used dell as our primary computer vendor at a few companies now. experience has always been good. have been able to get laptops as well as desktops configured to meet the engineering design specifications that i need to run software (ie. solidworks, etc.)

I bought a Dell desktop a few years ago to run FEA and CFD on. The computer still functions as good as it did the day I purchased it.

Needs to improve: Like all other computers these days, Dells come preloaded with too many advertisements and trial software.

We have Dell Computers throughout our facility. They are a very good computer. They are fast and dont break down to easy.

Strengths: Dell Computers are very good. They are a strong machine and work very nicely!! When you call customer service you always get someone that is willing to help.

All of my company's computers are Dell's and the are cheap and versitile depending on the user (engineering or administration or operations etc). They get the job done but they arent as good as my personal computers at home.

Besides Apple, we order all our work latops from Dell. They make it really easy to customize the laptop to the specs for our team. The quality of the laptops have gone up and prices are really great for what you get.

Everyone of our machines in our office is a Dell. They are built to run Solidworks and do so without crashing. Can sometimes take a long time to get a new machine.

Strengths: Not to big and always works good. Ive had mine for yrs and it has never dissapointed me.

Needs to improve: My only weakness is the battery dies after just two hours. And my computer gets hot but thats about it.

We have a Dell in every cubicle on site, they work very well running several programs all the time. As an engineer it is nice to have a reliable computer running all my programs I need for my designs.

Supplier of laptops and desktops for our facilities. The great product quality and reliability is a key part of us being productive. The technical services is reliable and knowledgable. The equipment hardly gives us any issues.

I bought the OptiPlex 3020 desktop for work and pretty happy with the performance when drawing software that required a lot of graphic. Also their customer support is excellent when I run into issue install new software.

For many years we used Dell products exclusively at our company. They are solid machines that ran all of our auto-cad and Solidworks programs just fine. Our IT department purchased them direct from Dell.

I use Dell laptop at home and at work and they are durable and dependable. Their new tablet Dell Venue 8' has a solid built as well and I enjoy using it.

We use Dell throughout the company, there really aren't that many choices for windows based systems and they are all about the same. Dell has worked out well for us.
