We use Dremel rotary tools in our labs for R&D Engineering, Manufacturing and Facilities. We've had a few demel's break down in a short amount of time due to over use / heating. Their customer service was called and they honored the warranty and replaced the product. I have found over the years that dremel tools fit a spot for use in R&D, Mfg, CSI, facilities - small tools do the tight jobs the big tools cannot. Good customer service and quick response time when any issue arrives: warranty, quotes, delivery, etc... Great Company!

Any experienced engineer knows that there's a time and place for accuracy and prescision but there's a time and a place for quick and dirty solutions. Dremel tools afford the end user the flexibilitiy to address these "quick and dirty" problems with an appropriate solution.

Strengths: Dremel power tools offer simple yet power power tools that allow the user to modify, alter and adjust equipment and tools with ease. Dremels are flexible and small and I rely on these tools to make quick changes to prototype tooling on the fly.

Needs to improve: Dremel tools lack precision. These tools are not descined to be precise, but are designed to be "quick and dirty" solutions for modificaitons and alterations to exsisting fixtures and devices.

Dremel provides the rotary and hand tools that we use in our machine shop. Our techs use these tools the most when we are designing prototypes and they all love using the dremel. They are light, easy to change blades, and can be used in so many ways with all the various adaptors that they come with. Reliable and great customer service whenever we need to have one of our tools serviced. Pricing is fantastic too. I consider Dremel an industry leader when it comes to hand held rotary tools. They have products appropriate for the regular consumer as well as industry grade that can handle more abuse, drops, etc.

I use their dremel in the lab on a regular basis. the attachments are very easy to apply and remove. I mainly use the circular flat dremel bit to remove stripped screw, broken or stripped grommets, and plastics from our dialysis machines. the dremels are pretty reliable with their only downfall being that the attachments sometimes break or rip off due to too much stress but all and all a great product.

Good solid tools and company. They are the original small, high speed shaft drive tool for precision work. We do have some older tools which have lasted a long time.

We used Dremel products for many years now and I must say I was very impressed with the high quality tools and workmanship that they provide us. Having the right tool makes for an easier and more professional project outcome. Good tools will last a lifetime, so price isn't always the main selection criteria. Customer Service has also been helpful in placing orders online. They also help you find the right tool your looking for. Overall this company is very professional.

Dremel rotary hand tools are lifesavers when you need something quick for tasks. They are not meant for heavy consistent use and as long as you keep this in mind, they come in extremely handy for quick fixes or one time builds. Our engineers use them all the time and they love the wide selection of compatible bits you can attach, making it a very versatile tool. Definitely a tool to keep around.

We currently carry about 3 or 4 dremels that we use in our facility. Mainly the rework department uses it the most it comes in real handy when you got a stripped bolt and the only way to get it off is with the Dremel. It's a very good tool for the home or a facility.

Strengths: Dremel has great products and a large selection of access sire fur your Dremel tool.

Needs to improve: Their bits are not that strong and tend to grind down very quickly.

We paid for shipping and handling but we were happy that we were able to get brand new replacement tools. Good customer service and quick response. They provided us an RMA number right away. Thumbs up!

Dremel Inc supplies my work with excellent quality power tools for our production assembly line. I use the Dremel tool in the machine shop for a lot of different applications. I use it for curing, milling and sanding small components. Because of its size, I can work on small parts and Dremel sells tips for just about any milling application.

The Dremel tool is a jack of many trades. In the right hands and with the right attachments, it can do just about any polishing, grinding, cutting or shaping job. I suspect that a Dremel tool has had a part of 99.9% of all medical device start-ups, and for good reason.

The Dremel tool is standard equipment for any model/prototype shop. They work great for grinding, polishing, cutting, etc. They also have a lot of accessories. I use one quite a bit because in the Med device field things tend to be small and this is the tool for the job.

The use of a Dremel tool is standard at every medical device company. They can be used for everything from polishing to cutting to mill work. Get the drill press attachment, and a good selection of burrs and cut off wheels, and you will be unstoppable!

We order a few of dremel sets to use one of our production process outside clean room. It makes the job quicker, before we sand by hand. It is durable and easy to order replacement parts.

We use a few Dremel hand grinders to help machine our stainless steel coils. They work well for our needs and we have no complaints. They are still being used after 3 years of use and we only change out the grinding disks from time to time.
