For early prototypes, we used Elastic Design to perform some thermal analysis on our devices to see how quickly they heated, thermal uniformity and temperature drops. Without them we would have had to invest in our own thermal cameras (which we eventually did). Outsourcing to them allowed us to quickly make changes to the product and allowed us to learn a great deal from their experience.

If you have a few products you want tested for thermal profiles, I would highly recommend them.

We have hired Elastic Design for a few engagements to test our mechanical systems for bottlenecks. Their very experienced staff was able to get into our warehouse right away to test our assembly line mechanical system. We are a growing small firm and have old machinery, and tend to maintain our machinery to promote the useful life. Elastic Design's services were able to help us identify key bottlenecks and we addressed these quickly with a few tune-ups. This not only extended its useful life, but also improved its operating efficiency. A+!

I used Rik for analyzing our products. He's help me at two companies and has always provided very thorough and detailed work. He is extremely knowledgeable and his easy going personality makes it a pleasure to work with him. He is very responsive and very responsible. He provides good communication and keeps you in the loop while performing the failure analysis.

Our firm outsources or failure analysis requests to Elastic Design for their high speed thermal imaging solutions. We have not been disappointed as their expert staff offers quality insight and is always available to address any of our concerns. Turnaround time is fairly quick given the thoroughness. Will contract again given the level of service and accurate data.
