For the most part dealing with HP has been exceptional. I bought a DL 360 rackmount server that had a defective component and got a replacement right away. I've also had a SAS drive fail 2 years in and got a replacement no questions asked. Feels good to receive little hassle as servers of this caliber are not cheap. As stated earlier the elitebook quality has been great in my experience. I have deployed quite a few and had very little issues with them on a hardware level.

Strengths: HP from my experience makes good notebooks, printers, and rack mount servers. I have been using them for over 10 years and have been extremely satisfied. I have also received excellent customer service when I have needed assistance from them.

Needs to improve: Some products are great, some aren't. Their enterprise level switches were attractive to my company in what they promised for the price, but did not perform to our liking. We also had 4 blade server arrays which performed well once they were set up, but we did not receive much support in OS deployment and installation. One gigantic downside to HP printers is the cost of toner. In a color laser situation, it was not uncommon for one toner swap to cost 50 - 75% of the printer itself.

I felt that they did a great job resolving my issue of a printed under warranty. I also think they do a great job making their printer drivers accessible on line.

Strengths: Their customer service was excellent. We purchased a printer for a personal printer for a Director's office. It stopped working after about 8 months. After having the IT person trouble shoot the issue, I had to call HP for the warranty coverage. The tech support person took me through a number of steps and came to the same conclusion as the IT person; a module needed to be replaced. They shipped the replacement to me in a matter of a couple days and the printer was back up and running. In addition, the return of the defective part was easy and straight forward. Everyone was satisfied.

Needs to improve: I feel like their quality some times is not the best. They mass produce and have made things less and less expensive. Consumers and businesses like that, but reliability sometimes comes into question.

printers are ok. not much change in their quality in my opinion from 15 years ago, and if anything, seems to have gotten worse to be more cost-effective (which usually comes at the cost of quality). their computers are horrendous and i personally try to avoid it all costs. bloated, slow, ugly....what more is there....

Decent service for a large company. Turnkey solutions for our document processing. Integrated data solutions. Customer service can be tedious. Service techs seem to be good guys. Slow turnaround though

Strengths: We contract with HP printing services for Printers, FAX and scanners. Decent quality, but not what they used to be. Contract is not cheap, but we are able to have an outside vendor keep our document processing equipment running and up to date. Customer support is ok and we do have a dedicated sales rep, but not a dedicated customer support person When we need really mission critical help, we have to go through our rep to get things rolling.

Needs to improve: Big company means big company bureaucracy. Slow to respond to our needs. Limited product supplies and items. Large company means there is a greater long term support for printers. Not the same company when it was run by Hewlett and Packard.

oh how far ye have fallen... not that big a fan of HP anymore. once a dominant player with a pristine reputation....yeah.... these days, bleh. printers are whatever. laptops/computers are horrendous with massive amounts of bloat. yup, you can easily find better elsewhere.

I wouldn't buy another HP Printer at least for the for see able future. I can get a better product from Brother or Epson mainly because of cost, ink usage, noise and lack of jamming.

Strengths: Ten years ago, HP had the best printers for small offices around.

Needs to improve: Currently, I find their printers second best. They're not economical with ink. They're also slower than their rivals and noisier when printing or scanning.

Their laptops are unreliable and definitely not durable. I’ve purchased 3 around the same time and all have failed within 2 years. They were good about replacing it since it was still under warranty, but the replacements weren’t any better. Their printers are decent though, although the toner will cost you an arm and a leg.

My experience with Hewlett-Packard Co has been great. My office has been happy with their products and don't see a need to switch over to a different brand.

Strengths: The strengths of Hewlett-Packard Co is that their computers are very durable and efficient. We use several in my office and our IT department continues to use HP products because of their reliability.

Needs to improve: The weakness of Hewlett-Packard Co is that it requires their computers to be restarted in order to install updates. This can be an inconvenience if you have a lot of tabs open on your computer and when you're prompted you have to install the updates in order for your computer to not be slow.

My club has contracted out through Hewlett Packard and have purchased there laser printers for use in our executive offices. The printers are extremely high quality and greatly save ink, an expensive commodity. The printers also come at a great affordable prices and are easy to maintain and use. Hewlett-Packard also has excellent customer service and easily helps you find the printer that is best for you and your office (such a small size printer, or a large office size printer.) I highly recommend them as a source of printers and printer related items.

Hewlett Packard makes fast large storage overall great desktop computers that come at excellent prices. They make the ordering of computers very fast and straight forward and make it so that you have to do little effort to get what you need. They are an overall great supplier of computers and their peripherals. This is also partly because they are known for their fast high quality computers. They also have allowed us to purchase numerous desktops together. I highly recommend them.

Strengths: Computers (Desktops), Monitors, Prices, Customer Service, Selection, as well as an overall just excellent company.

Needs to improve: Slow Order Time

In an IT company, we know that Computer peripherals are the main equipment to use. Hewlett-Packard is the best in terms of quality printing, scanning etc. our business flows smoothly with the help of all HP peripherals. HP is getting better and better every time we purchased a new product for the expansion of our business.

Strengths: Hewlett-Packard Makes Laser Printers that are the most high quality, affordable.They are easily to customized. The servers are solid and never had any issues with them. The system is reliable, fast and affordable even the other Computer Peripherals.

In my previous company, we used HP laptops and printers for everything. But the quality of their products were not that great. The printers worked well and were reliable, but the laptops were terrible.

We use all HP brand printers for our company's needs, with the exception of large scale jobs. Printer quality is excellent, and their printing speed and accuracy continues to improve with each cycle. They also offer affordable rental programs for their equipment so you can try out various types to fit your needs. Support can be improved as over the phone usually doesn't work to address issues, smaller brands have offered better on site technicians.

I use and hp desktop, printer, and fax machine in my lab on a daily basis and it has never let me down even after all these years. I use it to type and print up service and quality reports for my dialysis machine projects and to send and receive faxes to and from potential clients and co workers and it hasn't let me down yet.

I own a combo printer/copy machine/scanner from HP. It was very to set up to print remotely from all my devices including my computer, iPad and iPhone. I remotely print concert tickets from my phone, scan quality photos and print marketing materials for my home business. I get good quality copies and scan with my HP printer. The recycled ink from Staples works great in the machine too.

Strengths: Reliable printers that last a long time. Easy to use and easily compatible with both Apple and Dell products.

HP is always the first brand of electronics that comes to mind when I need a laptop or printer.I can always depend on them for a quality product.

Needs to improve: Better user interface for printer program. The look is very important when using a printer to print image. The user interface had a very simple and almost outdated to it. HP computers also tend to get very hot, almost dangerously hot. I suggest working on a better cooling system.

printers are decent, computers not so much. didn't like compaq very much, didn't think slapping a hp label was going to change that much, and yup, still sucks

Ultimately my call was transferred multiple times but eventually they were able to send out an operating system with a return box for a laptop that had issues. Once I was talking to the right department they were able to resolve my issue in a timely manner.

Strengths: Great customer service with resolution and assistance.

Needs to improve: They require a lot of information to receive assistance. There is a lot of multiple departments where you are transferred around and sometimes route your call to the wrong area.

We have multiple brand of computers and printers in our department. One of the brand is Hewlett-Packard. I use the HP Computer to keep track of our inventory count using a spread sheet and it is very user friendly, fast and reliable computer and I use the HP Printer for making a copy of our procedures, data sheets, drawings and instructions needed for medical machines. Good brand and good quality office equipment.

Our firm used HP products fro almost a year and we can prove that their products are very durable and the performance are excellent! My co-workers really love their computers and laptop products helping us to do our task well without any issues. Dealing with them is worthy and their customer service are reliable. Highly recommended to everyone.
