Reliable shipping service with great customer service!

I regularly use UPS, Federal Express and DHL to ship packages to customers, vendors and other sites. UPS is my go-to shipping company. Packages arrive on time and tracking information is constantly kept up to date. When there has been an issue, I can call up call customer service and they will typically resolve my issue to my satisfaction. On one occasion a time sensitive shipment ended up at the wrong distribution center and on the wrong truck for delivery. I received a phone call from a customer service manager and later the courier who had picked up my package from the delivery truck with news that he had personally delivered my shipment.

Excellent company with great customer service.

Strengths: Quick Shipping, great tracking system, excellent customer service and fast response time.

Needs to improve: UPS's ship commercial ship locations are not as prevalent as Federal Express in Florida. This has at time created problems for me when I've needed to ship something after UPS's last pick up time on a particular business day. UPS Stores are more suited for consumer business so it's not feasible to ship out a large shipment from a UPS Store.

We used to use UPS to ship larger items but have had a bad experience using them. Shipments not arriving on time or not at all, packages breaking, dropped or torn boxes, etc. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with UPS on getting refunds on items that have been damaged that I just try to avoid UPS at all costs. I even spoke to a UPS transporter once and he said himself that nobody cares if a box has "Fragile" written all over it. It all gets thrown around in the van and what not. I understand that accidents happen but it tends to be more frequently with UPS. They also ship by weight and dimension where as fedex ships by weight. Avoid at all costs.

I have shipped many products with UPS, 100% of the time the package gets to the designation safe and sound. As I can remember, there was only one time I had issues with one of the shipments. One of my customers has showed me damage with the product due of shipment. The box was a slightly crunched and has bent the product. Luckily UPS has a insurance policy option and has refunded the damages to me, which I refunded to the customer.

Strengths: UPS is a postal company that really cares about the packages you give them to send. They put a lot of effort into to making sure your packaging is 100% safe and carefully sent off with out getting damaged. The customer service has never let me down, the employees are very helpful and very knowledgable towards what they do.

Needs to improve: UPS is such a hard company to find weaknesses. The only problem I have had in the past, was most of the UPS stores I have gone to is too small. There is always a line out the door.

The drivers are courteous and polite. They work with our office hours and are easily accessible via personal cell phone. I prefer UPS over USPS or FedEx. I am a little tired of their Online services though. Prices fluctuate too much on shipping costs. Wish they could update the software maybe once a month instead of daily.

Strengths: UPS is on time. The daily drivers I know locally are courteous and willing to work with our business hours. They drop off packages in the morning and come back in the evening for pickups. They arrive just as we are closing and are rarely late.

Needs to improve: Occasionally, the website is a little unstable. It gets a little frustrating sometimes. Obtaining supplies online is not the easiest. They limit certain items and I would have to repeatedly log in and order the same supplies multiple times in one sitting so I can have a larger quantity (of labels) shipped to our company.

overall pretty good the workers there at the store are a hit or miss. they get the job done at the cheapest rate. i can give packages to the driver who i know all personally. they are all good guys and enjoyable to talk to and work with.

Strengths: they are open till 7
this location is never busy

supplies to ship your package
the trucks are right there give them a package and its out the door on a truck

Needs to improve: the employees are all miserable sometimes there isn't a worker even in the office place has an unusual smell ive gone there and they say the package isn't here when my tracking info says otherwise

Great when it comes to arriving to our warehouse to pick up the orders that need to be sent out, but bad when it actually comes to delivering the orders to our clients.

Strengths: They don't arrive to our warehouse later than expected.

Needs to improve: Where do I start? Almost every week at least 5-7 customers will call in saying that their orders are either: 1) lost in transit after a long period of time from the estimated delivery date stated on the tracking status or 2) lost after tracking status states it's already been "delivered". In addition, we don't get to file claims and try to win money back because UPS just doesn't allow it.

My experience with UPS has been very good. If UPS ground isn't set-up outside my company the UPS delivery people will be courteous and take it off my hands. This gesture is very much appreciated since there isn't a UPS location in my work area.

Strengths: The strengths of UPS is their timeliness and friendliness. We have the same UPS delivery people come in every morning and they always are very personable.

Needs to improve: The weakness of UPS is that they don't set up their ground pick up stand everyday - which can be very bothersome if you have to get a package out for delivery the next day.

My experience with UPS has been really good. We heavily rely on their services for my company and appreciate their provided services.

Strengths: The strength of UPS is their ability to deliver packages efficiently and on time. A number of people in my office are constantly hyper aware of when their packages should be delivered - so having a service like UPS that delivers on time is great.

Needs to improve: The weakness of UPS is that sometimes they do mis-delivers, which is somewhat of a burden to have to give it back to them. I think a little more attentiveness would be much appreciated.

Good if you need to pick up a missed delivery.

We have missed a delivery several times so we had to send someone to pick up the delivery from the customer center. You have to go after 7pm, and there is always a line. So it can be a bit of a wait on occasion. Everything is outside, so it can be uncomfortable of a wait. But it is convenient if you absolutely need your package.

Strengths: Good tracking. Able to pickup a missed deliver at the Customer Center.

Needs to improve: Can be disorganized at times. If picking up a package it can be a long wait.

Over the years I've sent and received many packages through UPS. To date I have rarely had any problems with their service. I primarily use UPS for all of my ground deliveries. I feel that they can be trusted to deliver my packages on-time. I find their website easy to use, especially when it comes to tracking packages. It is always nice when I can look and see exactly where my package is, and when it is expected to arrive.

Strengths: Low Cost, On-time delivery, Good tracking system

Needs to improve: Occasional damaged product, Limited pick-up times

We ship everything from cell phones to uniforms to post orders using this company. They are Always fast and reliable. Great customer service and i would recommend them to anyone who wants there package there on time in tact and does not want to pay a million dollars to do so!

Strengths: Great customer service. Fast Cheap Reliable something we have not found in many other shipping services. UPS Stands head high above the rest in every aspect of business!

Needs to improve: only pick up once a day. Thats really my only complaint with this amazing company

We primarily use UPS for larger packages and box delivery as the rates are lower than the other option. However, we've noticed that they are cutting back on drivers and the delivery and pickup times appear to be getting later and later. The drivers say their workload has increased leading to their schedule being pushed back. We will continue to use as their rates are lower and it hasn't led to any issues yet.

Strengths: Lots of locations and pickups, good package pricing

Needs to improve: Pickup and delivery times are later and not reliable

Dependable shipping carrier in business over 100 years!

Overall I am very pleased. My rep is usuaply dropping in at least once a month to check on us and brings lunch for my employees roughly every other month.

Strengths: UPS is always reliable and on time with all my important overnight packages to the auto manufactures I work with. I have using them 6 + years and have never had any trouble with them at all.

Needs to improve: Very rarley the shipping price will end up being higher than I was quoted. My rep tells me that there own quotes are not 100% accurate.

Delivers on time, reliable and slightly cheaper than Fedex

Great overall. Their price is great vs Fedex and they always come through and deliver on time. Would highly recommend them.

Strengths: UPS is great. Compared to Fedex their pricing is much better. If I don't need something shipped ASAP with first morning receipt tomorrow, but need something faster than USPS, than UPS is the way to go. Great customer service too.

Needs to improve: Their customer service is great, but compared to Fedex it is a notch below. Not a major complaint because their service is great, but their top competitor offers better customer service.

First,I have used UPS a lot.They bring the package and leave and if you have question (which u probably won't) they can help you.

Strengths: First,they are very useful.They bring the order to you in a short amount of time , which saves you lots of time.They also mostly never have delayed shipping , but if they do they send u mails.Clearly UPS is very useful.

Needs to improve: They don't really have any weaknesses.First , they give u information to make sure u know what's might happen like delays or something

I've had to send various packages for my business and we always choose UPS. Not only is it a super convenient location for my business, but I never have to wait more than five minutes in line. They always have everything we need for our shipments and they offer great service as well. I recommend this UPS to anyone who lives in Manteca.

Strengths: This UPS is really convenient. They offer really fast and friendly service.

Needs to improve: I've never had any bad experiences at ups.

Our company has used UPS in the past to ship out product to hospitals and labs. Pickups were consistently on time and they typically got to where they need to get to, as promised. They can be very pricey for last minute emergencies ... and those happen(ed) all the time.

Strengths: Fast shipping to most of the country. They provide a service that most companies like us need.

Needs to improve: We've had a few packages damaged but, overall, service from UPS is pretty good

We currently use their services on a daily basis. They offer great customer service and their drivers are very friendly and always professional. Never have I received a package with any damage what so ever which is very important considering we're shipping life sustaining medical devices to our customers.

Strengths: Great customer service they are a well established company that has been around for a long time.

Needs to improve: Sometimes your packages get delayed but is common with any courier service you use.

At my body shop we have shipped a lot of car parts. The service there is always very welcoming. The workers really help me get my products to the buyers. They always do a great job helping me package items. I always leave Ups as a satisfied customer.

Strengths: Ups had great service! Great workers, very knowledgable!! Very well organized and great at packaging materials.

Needs to improve: Prices could be a little lower. Sometimes lines are a little long.
