Tennsco - High Quality but Pricey Cabinets

They have great customer service.

Strengths: Our firm has some Tennsco cabinets to store equipment. The cabinets are shipped assembled, which saves a lot of this time on this end trying to figure things out with someone on the phone. They are high quality products with lots of space, and they last a long time.

Needs to improve: The cabinets are pricey - you pay for what you get, and they can be bulky and difficult to move.

Deloitte - Expert Knowledge

Positive experience - they bring a lot of experience to the table and are service oriented.

Strengths: Our firm uses Deloitte to audit our financial statements and help our accounting teams close the books every year and prepare tax returns. Generally, we have had a great experience - Deloitte has a lot of expertise and professional knowledge. The individuals on the teams we work on are skilled and responsive.

Needs to improve: The response time can be a little slower during peak periods - end of quarter, end of year, etc.

American Standard Co Inc - Great Quality

Good, consistent products across the board.

Strengths: Our company uses American Standard Co for our bathroom and plumbing needs. The motion sensors are great and the whole look of our renovated bathrooms are awesome.

Needs to improve: We haven't seen any weaknesses thus far. The service has been excellent and responsive.

TransPerfect Translations - Quality Translation Services

They do a quality job, but the prices are always on the high side.

Strengths: Accurate translations and expertise in many areas. The employees are pleasant and easy to work with.

Needs to improve: They need a lot of notice and can't always meet rush deadlines.

Recall Corp - Good Service

Generally, we've had a good experience with the customer service and employees there. No worries re security.

Strengths: Our firm uses Recall Corp to store files and documents for our cases. Recall Corp secures the document history report, and the storage system is user friendly. The records are safe and easy to acess if needed.

Needs to improve: No issues thus far - sometimes if a file is lost, it can take a while to locate.

Kronos Incorporated - No Problems!

Our process with Kronos has been quite smooth.

Strengths: Our company uses Kronos to manage our timesheets for employees. It is integrated into our online system and manages our PTO's, vacations accrual, sick days and allocated hours for employees. The system is intuitive with a lot of options that makes managing the time system and related payroll easy. If there are questions, their customer service is responsive and knowledgable.

Needs to improve: None seen so far.

First American Title Co - Great Title Company

Generally, the people we have worked with are super responsive and reliable.

Strengths: First American is usually the title company of choice among our real estate group to handle recording and real property matters. They are a big organization, so can get you answers from a wide variety of jurisdictions. They have experience, so they can identify issues and work hard to minimize potential issues. They are generally super responsive, so you know they are working on the issue.

Needs to improve: Sometimes, the information comes back piecemeal. When they are using mobile notaries, the process can get delayed because the mobile notary isn't clear on what should be happening.

Kaiser Permanente Health Care - Convenient but Can be a Process

The convenience of having most services in one place can't be beat.

Strengths: Kaiser is on our firm's list of health care providers - employees can choose to be part of this insurance plan. Kaiser offers good rates, and it can be a money saver, especially compared to the PPO plans. Kaiser gets top marks for convenience - everything is in one location and most of the specialties are in one location as well.

Needs to improve: Like with most big organizations, there is a lot of paperwork and bureaucracy. It can take a long time to get an appointment, and to actually talk to someone who can help you.

ADP - Great Service

Generally have had a great experience with very few issues.

Strengths: Our firm uses this vendor to supply payroll services to all employees. The customer service group is always willing to answer questions and is very knowledgable - you will get an answer, and they are reliable.

Needs to improve: The web site service isn't always intuitive and can raise a lot of questions.

Fedex - Excellent Delivery Service

Generally, the system is set in place and works well.

Strengths: FedEx products are well made - so you don't have to worry about the package or envelope falling apart. They are also good with international deliveries - to Asia and Europe. Also, the tracking system tells you where the packages are, so you can tell what happened - even if there is a mistake.

Needs to improve: If one of your packages misses a shipping deadline and gets left behind, it can take long times with customer service to track it down.

Cisco Systems Inc - Great Phones

Generally, I've had a great experience - these phones are the top of the line.

Strengths: Our company uses Cisco phones and their telephone service whenever we are having a video conference call. The phone and call quality is consistently good.

Needs to improve: The help guides can be long and not easy to use.

Microsoft - Consistent Programs

I don't think I've ever directly spoken to Microsoft customer service - generally, I refer problems to our IT department. I know there are web resources for Microsoft help, which I generally appreciate.

Strengths: My company has always used Microsoft based systems - they are an industry leader for a reason. Our IT department always does a lot of research, and Microsoft always seems to come out on top - for not crashing, for potential infection and virus issues, etc.

Needs to improve: The help function can be annoying and difficult to use. The basic functions of all Microsoft programs are done well - it's instincitive and easy to teach yourself. But anything complicated can drive you nuts!

AT&T Wireless - General Good Experience

In sum, AT&T is fine, so long as you have no issues. But if there is a network issue, reception issue, etc. and you need to speak to someone ... set aside an hour.

Strengths: My company allows us to choose between AT&T and TMobile as carriers for our data and phone services. I've used AT&T for the last 7 years for my data and phone services. In terms of data coverage, I have no complaints - there is widespread coverage, and I haven't had issues with interrupted service.

Needs to improve: I think AT&T's greatest weakness is their customer service. I've had to call the service a couple times a year - to expand my coverage internationally when I am traveling, to fix problems when my Blackberry is having service or reception issues, etc. It takes forever to get someone on the phone, and even after that happens, you are transferred between departments.
