Medline Industries Inc

I was handed a couple of Medline's Standard Cold Packs (# MDS137000) after a fall at work. These are one-time use packs. When it came time to discard them, I read the package to see if they were recyclable. There was no such information on them. I looked online but only found other manufacturers of cold packs who listed the recycling information for their products. I phoned Medline. A nice receptionist said she'd got the same question before, but she forwarded my question to a Product Specialist who said, basically, just chuck it. I explained that the outer outer bag was heavy plastic which would never decompose in a landfill, but before I cut up the bag to recycle the heavy plastic, I needed to know how to dispose of the beaded contents (other vendors online had recycling instructions). He didn't have a clue, and repeated that I could just throw them away.
In its website, Medline boasts of its social responsibility. Empty claims, as the Environment is social responsibility. Medline needs to realise it's the 21 century! I will advise my institution to move to other vendors of medical supplies and leave Medline and its products in the last century.

November 2016 Doctor ordered a wheel chair and shower chair for my daughter. The doctor sent back all the paper work and then some. We did received the shower chair no problems. I called Medline many times always got a different story. Once they even told me they never had the doctors information! (funny since by now we are in January 2017) Now mid Feb they say they have everything they need. Well someone sat on everything way to long before sending to the insurance now all the paperwork is expired!!! They dropped the ball way to many times. They tell so many different stories I do not know who is telling me the truth anymore. Forget talking to a sup or manager they will just tell you some story on why you cant but one will call you back asap. after calling for two weeks strait being told you will get a call back in 24 hrs no one has reached out to me.

Customer service and logistics is a waste of time and money. Won't except loads that are 20 minutes late when snow is on the ground. Very petty place of business for a broker and carrier. I wouldn't recommend doing business with the Aberdeen Maryland facility. They look to turn productivity away.

our pharmacy offers billing for workman's compensation and medical supplies are needed for some of these compensations. We have a contract with Medline to supply our medical supplies in our pharmacy. this ranges from sharps containers we use for immunizations as well as for purchase for our patients. but we also carry their wheelchairs, crutches, medlite beds, and excel translators. they also are our supplier for incontinence care products. Medline is a dispense that carries a lot of the industry vendors and most of the brands we use are called by Medline. if orders are placed before 5pm, they are always shipped the next day and takes around 2-3 business days for arrival. they have an online resolution center as well as catalog for ordering.

Our company sources from Medline Industries Inc to purchase bins and recycle containers to aid us in the cleaning up in our manufacturing plants. Because of the different size of our plants, we need a wide selection of products and Medline is able to meet all those needs. Their sales staff was able to point us to the perfect products for us and provide very accurate quotes. The orders were also delivered with very little lead times. Medline's pricing is also very competitive and their staff is always helpful. Great vendor and we will definitely source from them again!

my pharmacy has an active account with Medline for our sharps container we use inside the pharmacy for disposing of immunization products. We also stock Medline sharps containers for our pts for purchase who need them for diabetic supplies or meds that require injection. they have a variety of sizes for their sharps for large ones for pharmacy use as well as just a few ML's for pts who only need to use it as a short term basis. the products are reliable, sturdy and high quality.

We go through a lot of nitrate gloves and found Medline's to be the best. We order other supplies from them for our clean room and R&D department. We found them easy to work with and easy to reach. We can reorder any supplies needed asap. Customer service is very attentive. We did find the pricing structure a little confusing, some items were cheaper when not bought in bulk, which is okay for us, we'd just buy lower quantities more often.

Because of the size of our projects, we need to source a lot of containers and Medline has been very proficient at being able to fulfill our needs. Their pricing is also very competitive and they have a very large selection. Their customer service department is also very friendly and ensure that you are getting what you need. I recommend Medline Industries for any company that needs various types of containers!

Medline is a great vendor for containers and medical device supplies. They have a large customer service support team that is also quick to respond to my inquiries. They are at times impersonal, but efficient at their job. I am able to get the containers I need for my lab without a hassle at a great price. They are a solid company to order from.
