oh how i love verizon, how do i count the ways. after my battered relationship ended with AT&T with some intervention and help by the US government and state of CA, my adventures took me to Verizon. i think my first conversations with customer service, i was so overjoyed by the support by them, that i went on a minute monologue telling them how awesome they were. i guess this is how the world looks after getting out of a battered relationship..... but now i've been with verizon for almost ten years. never have had a complaint. customer service has always been consistent and helpful. They were even nice enough to help keep me grandfathered into my unlimited data plan when i upgraded to their new 4G LTE network a few years back (this was a time they were trying to get people off that plan pretty actively). Must say, i was very pleased and impressed they were able to do that, bc, omg 4G LTE, is some ridiculous ish. not as fast these days as its saturated but in the early days, OMGGGGGG i was getting speeds on par with cable and even fiber networks (40mb+ d/l and 30mb+ u/l) .
verizon may be slightly more expensive, but after my past issues with AT&T i'm willing to stay with the peaceful rolling green hills of Verizon

Verizon is my # choice mainly because they are reliable. I love the coverage that it has and even though I pay handsomely for it, it is well worth it. Having dropped calls and bad signal is a big no no in my line of work. Compared to T-Mobile and AT&T, Verizon's coverage is much better. Compared to Sprint, Verizon's customer service is far superior.

Strengths: Verizon has excellent service across the parts of the United States I travel to, which is pretty much cross country. With other providers, I had experienced frequent dropped calls and slower data services during peak hours but I always seem to get good signal and strong speeds at all hours of the day. Additionally, the customer service is pretty good when you run into issues that require troubleshooting and they always seem to have the widest range of mobile phone options available when the manufacturers release their newest models.

Needs to improve: A lot of services that Verizon charges are at a premium. For one, there is no visual voicemail which is an added feature. Granted you get great coverage, you definitely pay for it as well. My average bill at Verizon is 30% higher than my previous telecommunication provider. The capped data plan is also a bit of a inconvenience because any overage causes you to pay for an arm and a leg. They also don't have very good international features to add on that could lower the costs of your bill when you are roaming

I had come in when the store had opened. By which point, there was already 4 people ahead of me. There were 2 Verizon folks helping out customers on a one-on-on basis, 1 greeter, and a few agents going in and out of the back room. Each customer took about 30-45 minutes to be helped. By the time I was able to speak to someone, it was about an hour in. I was helped very kindly by the agent but the entire process was painfully slow. Even if I knew exactly what I wanted, I would have had to waited a long time to purchase the phone since there was no designated cashier.

Really poor operations management.

The last time I called in for help, it was because I was over seas and could not get the data working. It used to work on other phones I've had from Verizon. They could not get it to work and I could tell they were just looking through their scripted manuals. After I did some of my own research on the internet and learned my particular phone is international capable only for voice and text and not data. Shouldn't the know that.

Needs to improve: Note my experience is with the entire Verizon company, not just this store. 20% of the time I get poor phone support. Personal support is better than support for corporate accounts, which is what I have. Phones have far, far too much Verizon bloat ware.

My overall experience with VZW has been great, other than the fact they think they're the best so they cant treat their customers like crap. Other than that, they're a great phone company.

Strengths: They have the best network hands down. No one is on par with them.

Needs to improve: The phones that are offered, the plans are not attractive, and they throttle customers with unlimited data plans. They also have terrible customer service. Being a loyal customer of 10+ yrs, I asked for a better deal, or some kind of savings. They said we're the best, so we don't need to do that. My thought is if ATT ever beats them out on network coverage, I'm totally jumping ship. Terrible EGO. That's how the big car companies failed too... too big to fail.

Once you reach to a real customer service line, everything is easy from there. I've had some issues with my phone battery, and they cleared everything up for me and walked me through a process that was very easy to follow. Was very happy with it.

Strengths: If you have a small business or even a large business. Verizon will set you up with a great business line for your employees. Very reasonable with price, and give many discounts. Most of their workers are pretty easy to work with, they will show you how to use the phones if you have any trouble with it.

Needs to improve: It takes a long time to call customer service, theres always some sort of problem with it. Calling them and getting to a real person could go a lot smoother.

My overall experience with verizon has been pretty good for the most part. As long as you don't have to call the customer support number and you are able to resolve your issues going through their website they are pretty good.

Strengths: The best thing about verizon is there coverage. I have had dropped calls and some network issue but verizon overall has been pretty good. They have a 10% discount program if your company goes uses them as a wireless provider.

Needs to improve: There customer support is not that great. They tend to leave you on hold for long periods of time only to have to transfer you to another department and inbetween that they drop your calls occassionally. The website is a better way to go to resolve your problems.

We use Verizon to supply cell phones to all of our employees. When choosing a telecommunications provider for our company there were only two options: AT&T and Verizon. We choose verizon because of the greater coverage map across the nation vs. at&t. We are often traveling and require reliable voice and data connection while on the road, in airports, meetings, etc. Verizon is definitely the best when it comes to coverage maps and their data speeds are fast as well. I feel that from personal experience at&t has a faster network when you find a cell tower that isn't as congested but their coverage is noticeably more spotty compared to verizon. Corporate pricing between the two companies is fairly the same.

When we were looking for carriers for our business we researched and looked at all the various corporate options. Although the local carriers had better pricing, we sought someone with reliable coverage. We had to find a good balance between costs and coverage. Well that's what we thought, until we spoke to verizon's sales team. We told them of our needs and they offered a great option for us. Something we could not refuse and we could not have been happier. We are ecstatice with our choice and all our employees love it also, most of our employees have cancelled their personal phones and used the company phone as their own also, why not? They're way more reliable than anyone else.

Based on my corporate experience, my favorite feature of Verizon's service is that one universal password enables anyone in the company to contact Verizon and make any modifications they may need. This is nice so you can either keep that password private, thus no one can modify the account. Or, you can share the password with select employees and not have to worry about facilitating every phone purchase etc.

Strengths: Many locations. In-store tutorials available for customers. Wide variety of phones, accessories and service plans. When traveling abroad it is very easy to enable international calling and data plans. Great coverage!

Needs to improve: A bit more expensive than its competitors, but that is because they provide a superior product and service.

I've been using Verizon phone and data for my travels when supporting clinical trials in other states. They have pretty decent coverage across the US. I did however find that often times in buildings the signal can be bad versus some of my co-workers.

Their cost is very expensive. And I hate that they removed the unlimited data plans (or you can keep it and pay full price for your phone).

Their online tools are very easy to use.

Strengths: Generally very good coverage in California. Fast 4G. Lots of phones and devices to choose from. Good online tools.

Needs to improve: Cost. They are probably the most expensive carrier out there. They removed the unlimited data plans.

We at my pool and gym areas use Verizon wireless networks to provide wireless internet to our patrons while they enjoy are facilities. So far, we have yet to come across any problems with these routers besides the fact that when too many people are on the network, it slows down, which is to be expected with any wireless network. Also these wireless network products come at great prices from a company that is known to have good wireless internet products. I highly recommend Verizon to anybody to use as a good wireless internet network system.

Our company uses Verizon for mobile phone service. The coverage is great and they provide a wide variety of Phones. If you get the phone from Costco, you can get a longer return period and a free accessory package.

Strengths: Verizon provides mobile phone and data service across the country. They have the best coverage of all the cell phone service providers. They also provide a wide variety of cell phones and smart phones.

Needs to improve: Two year contract period, expensive data plans, no roll over minutes

In a BPO company where telecommunications services is needed, I can say that verizon really meets our standards. The network services is so fast and the connections are very clear. Verizon is the supplier of smartphones in our company as a token for the productive employees. The product is great as well as their customer service.

Strengths: Only Verizon's 4G network is 100% 4G LTE the gold standard of wireless technology.

Overall i had a good experience doing business with verizon and still do for that matter!

Strengths: The sales team was a joy to work with! We purchased a 2 year contract for 15 smartphones they worked a great deal on the phones and the plans! Amazing coverage compared to anyone else.

Needs to improve: Horrible customer service a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. Overage cost on data is quadruple what it cost to just add on to the plan.

I have a small CPA office and I use Verizon Wireless for all of my staff. They have very good small business plans, the best mobile phone coverage and vey good customer service. For one low price, I have service my whole staff and we get discounts on the smart phones.

Strengths: Verizon has the best coverage of all the mobile phone carriers, wide selection of smart phones, very good customer service and very business friendly.

Verizon is such a good telecommunication company. I use Verizon for my business and for personal uses as well. I travel all over the country and I really depend on their network that covers most of the country. I haven't been to a place during my business travels where I didn't have service.

Verizon Wireless was the network for you. This vendor was the pick of our company for carriers for our business at all the various corporate options. There are local carriers that had better pricing but we still pick someone with reliable coverage. The customer representative offered us a great option to choose what promo we need. Every employees are happy to what they got and nothing to complain for.

Strengths: The strengths of Verizon is that their service is one of the best on the market. We use their service for our firms cell phones and we're very happy with Verizon being our carrier.

Needs to improve: The weakness of Verizon is that sometimes there's high data roaming fees.

At my business all our phones are services by Verizon wireless. All I can say is just superb! I don't think that we have ever lost a client because of a bad connection, and everything is sounds very clear through the phone. They are reasonably priced for business plans and make payment super simple.
