Virgin America

Flying Virgin has opened my eyes to how good airline travel can be! Everything appeared to be a notch above other airlines I've experienced, right down to the terminal locations and quality, comfortable seats, good food, best entertainment, etc.

Strengths: I used Virgin taking off from SFO to go to Vegas for a conference. Their terminal is by far the best in terms of style, the quality of food vendors, and comfortable chairs compared to all others. They have the best entertainment options on-board as well as the most professional, put-together staff.

Needs to improve: Usually not the cheapest option. Don't have as many flight times to certain destinations as other airlines.

Virgin is a trendy airline with a modern vibe. It's a nice option when they have deals but it's generally on the expensive side. I had trouble receiving a refund due to the SFO plane crash that caused issues with my flight, and although I received the refund after writing a very long letter to headquarters, but the handling of the situation left an overall bad taste in my mouth.

Strengths: On time, quality snack selection

Needs to improve: Limited destinations within the U.S., expensive, employees are a bit unfriendly

Flying Virgin is definitely a treat. I always fly Virgin when I have the chance, their seats are the most comfortable of all the airlines. The personal video monitors and the food just make long flights a good experience.

Strengths: Virgin operates flights all over the country and fly out of all o the major airports. They have very comfortable seats and very good on board flight service and customer service.

Needs to improve: None

This airline has a reputation for excellence and I can personally say that I was treated like I was traveling first class when I flew with Virgin America. From the customer service at the ticket desk all the way to the airline pilot, this airline knows how to treat its clients. I even got a seat upgrade with no fuss!

Strengths: Clean, Friendly and reliable. First class!

Best airline I have ever flown with. The airplane is always very clean and the staff is always helpful and friendly. Anybody in the Bay Area planning a trip to hawaii should take advantage of the non stop service from San Fran to Honolulu. All he bells and whistles here!!! I fly virgin America whenever I can!!!

My experience with Virgin America has been fantastic. Their prices may be on the higher end but for the overall experience you're getting for the flight travel - it most certainly makes up for it.

Needs to improve: The weakness of Virgin America is that their ticket prices tend to be on the higher end.

The party atmosphere in the cabin gets you amped up for a weekend in Vegas. I enjoy all the other travelers on the flight and the flight attendants are very friendly.

Strengths: Online sales promotions, multiple departure times, direct flights. Enjoy the neon lights and party atmosphere in the cabin when making trips to Las Vegas!

Needs to improve: Not all online promotions are for areas in your airports.

I enjoy watching my own tv, and I always have great experiences with their staff.

Strengths: Ever since they have a presence at SFO and SJC, i use Virgin to the east coast. they have great ambiance on their flights and the staff is super friendly. Can't go wrong with your own tv

Needs to improve: they have sales, but when they don't, it can be pricey.

Comfortable travel experience and decent amount of leg room. Lots of space for carry on and laptop. Entertainment system is good and flight service is decent.

Strengths: Very, very comfortable flights. Nice plane. Very good entertainment system. Decent price but not the cheapest.

Needs to improve: The biggest weakness is airport availability. I cannot use them at the airport nearest to me. Very disappointing.

I fly Virgin when I can because it is a very comfortable and reasonable airlines. It has a certain cool factor surrounding the company as well. They also matched my status on the other airline I fly.

Strengths: Clean planes. Awesome personal entertainment systems. Good prices. Great workers.

Needs to improve: Not in a lot of airports around the country.

I love this airline, they are great in regards to how they treat their customers. I have used this airline for many of my business trips.
I wish they had more long distant flights

If you want a cheaper but comfortable flight, you need to check out Virgin America. I booked my flights with them for some of my business travel when they are available.

Strengths: Clean, nice seats, newer planes, good customer service, price, inflight entertainment system

Needs to improve: they have to expand to more airports and offer more flight schedules

I used them as a weekly commute from SoCal to the bay for about 6 months. The planes are new and the staff was great. Always on time. I wish they flew to more places

All in all, a great airline with excellent customer orientation and service; only issues has been with limited food selection.

Good flight experience with friendly staff. Good entertainment systems on newer air crafts makes the flight pleasant.

Every flight with Virgin America has great, they really try to accommodate their passengers and make them comfortable.

Overall this is a great airline to fly whenever possible.

Strengths: This a choice airline that is a lot of fun and comfortable to travel!

Needs to improve: They frequently do not have the destinations that I need to fly!

Virgin offers exceptional service on their planes. It's one of the few airlines that I actually look forward to fly on.

Overall a great airline to fly if they are flying the route your looking for. Newer planes with a good entertainment system.

Great service. Love always having the personal TV's and being able to have assigned seating.

Strengths: Awesome discount prices and a much more pleasant experience rather than flying Southwest, JetBlue, or united.
