PWC supplies metal tubing to our facility. We make stents, catheters, coils, and many more endovascular products that use PWC supplies. They provide high quality nitinol tubing for us and have been happy with the quality of work they do over there. For example, we order in very large lot sizes and have to measure their tubes when they come to our facility. We have had no issues with heat treating their products, and all their dimensions come in within specifications. Very rarely do we have to send product back for not conforming to our standards. Ordering is very easy. They tend to be more expensive than competitors out there but I find that their expertise and ease of collaboration is worth the extra price we pay for their service.

Used Precision Wire Components to help develop a custom tungsten wire for our wand assemblies. We supplied them with detailed drawings and they were able to create prototypes, accurate quotes and delivery times/schedule to meet our internal schedule/needs. In addition, they were able to form and weld (balls - different sizes and configurations) on our tungsten assemblies without any snags. Tungsten is an extremely brittle material and we could not afford to have any cracks or defects, Precision Wire was able to create our assemblies with a higher yield then any other vendor - great Job! .

Needs to improve: They tend to have a longer lead-time then most companies.

We use precision wire for many projects. Their sales staff is very knowledgeable and is very quick to answering questions if there is something they don't know. Their pricing is fair but for the response time, quality, and customer service, its really a great value. I have never had an issue with working with their group of employees and will continue to work together on future projects.

Needs to improve: If ordering in small volumes, the pricing is not great. Ordering in bulk/high volumes is your best bet with PWC. Still though you can't really argue with the quality product they provide with.

My company purchases many different quality parts from Precision Wire Components. Some of the parts we purchase are springs, and their custom wires and cables. We use these customer cables on our assembly line where we manufacture dialysis machines. Since we are manufacturing medical equipment it is extremely important that the parts are high quality, durable and reliable. We haven't been disappointed yet. Their customer service is great and the prices are competitive.

We've sources tubing material for the past two years from Precision Wire Components. Overall the quality of their tubing has been very good. We've been very impressed with their pricing considering the level of quality which keeps us coming back. Ordering from them is straight forward process as their customer service reps are very knowledgeable and great to work with. From our experience we've never had one of their components be a reason for any failures in our products. Overall I would recommend Precision Wire Components to others looking for a dependable company for tubing needs.

My experience has been great. I would always pay a little more for high quality products. Their products are very sturdy and are of industrial strength. Big thumbs up.

With a hectic warehouse, I like how the wires are sturdy and can withstand a lot of friction from various machines we have. It is easy to tell these are industrial grade versus home use. Overal a great company. Reliable with great customer service. I've use PWC at a number of companies for custom wire formed parts and coils. Quality has always been good and parts delivered on time or early. Their fast turn small run production option is really nice when you need a small qty of parts quickly. They are receptive to feedback and willing to work with you to optimize their processes so your parts continue to improve with each order.

We order a centerless ground stainless wire (several distinct diameters ranging from .020” to .010” along 100+ mm) for one of our products and PWC has been able to consistently deliver products to specifications. Good thing stainless steel doesn’t have an expiration, so we were able to take advantage of the large volume discount, although our LEAN engineers are less enthusiastic about having to store that quantity.

We currently order large quantities of custom cables and wires for work. We use them on a daily basis on the assembly production line to manufacture dialysis machines that saves lives for kidney dialysis patients. Their cables and wires are strong and durable. Strengths: we use PWC components to complete assemblies and sub assemblies. we use this company because they include wire straightening, grinding, coil winding, heat treating, forming, flattening, coating, and assembly of guidewires and devices. These are strengths and reasons why we use this company.

Needs to improve: Only Improvement I can offer this company it to keep improving their product.

I have used Precision Wire for center less and profile grinding of wire. Their sales staff has always been very responsive to my inquiries and never fails to return my calls. They have competitive pricing and provide quotes in a timely manner. If they have the size that I need, the parts usually get shipped very quickly. I haven't had a bad experience yet with Precision.

We looked into our durability issues on our products and looked into strengthening our components. We went Precision Wire to help us with that and they totally did. They're work is high quality and everything just feels better after their treatment. Our components seem to last longer. Precision wire makes spring coil for our manufacturing line. The lead time longer when first trying out trail but it gets better as we switch them to a main vendor. We mostly received the order on time and they provide with good quality and meet our expectations.

We use PWC for our gold coated tubing that is key in our medical device delivery system. We have only had one quality issue in the past four years and I remember it getting resolved fairly quickly and with no further decline in quality. I think they provide a service that is of high quality and works well with blanket orders.

PWC has been winding SS coils for me for many, many years. They offer a very fast expedite option for small quantities (I think it is <400 pcs) that I have used for getting development parts and components to supply manufacturing. Customer service is very helpful, and really understand PWC's internal capabilities.
