We have been using laser impressions for years for laser etching of our stents. They provide us with high quality service. The lasers they use are high grade and very sharp. We have inspected our stents after they have laser etched and they do not leave any unwanted slags or imperfections in the stent so as to hinder the performance of it while being delivered through a catheter. They are very easy to work with. They are very knowledgeable, willing to spend the time to make sure all questions are answered, and very easy to work with. Their pricing is fair depending on how big of a lot you want to have serviced. They're quick to get the final product back to you and can be counted on when in a bind. I will continue to be using them as a vendor for years to come and have no reservations recommending them to others.

They were able to hang in there when the job required very tight tolerances. I was impressed with the patient that the etchers had with dealing with R&D Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing. Their customer service was doing whatever was required to make the parts correct. I recommend them for any tough job.

Strengths: They have a capable staff and were able to etch our product (with precision markings) when no one else could do the job to the drawings specifications. Their staff worked with our Engineering and Purchasing departments to massage all the issues involved with producing our product per the engineering's specification. The price and customer service is outstanding; our product was very difficult and they were very patient with the whole process.

Needs to improve: During the initial phase they could not get the spacing between the lines per Engineering's requirement. The part had to be reworked and the documentation need to be updated to include the dimensions that were required and critical. A learning process for everyone.

The marking is for the medical field in terms clarity, permanency (no added paints or chemicals), and its ability to survive repeated sterilization. FDA approved. The laser marking does not trap blood or tissue material and thus simplifies cleaning and sterilization process. Their customer service representatives are every helpful and knowledgeable. Their quotes are accurate and the on time delivery is excellent. They always provides us quality products to meet our qualifications and standards.
