Putnam is our specific vendor for our single and multi-lumen needs. their single and double-D lumens are of exceptional quality and made with the highest quality material. these types of tubing with small dimensions is their primary focus thus are better quality and craftsmanship than other vendors we have worked with. because we do order the same tubing from them, we speak directly with their sales team rather than going through their engineering/development department which greatly shortens our production time. we send our emails directly to their customer service team and for the past 5 years we have worked directly with Kori who is their representative for their west coast clients. we have great experiences working with putnam. they make very high quality medical tubing and we will continue to use them as our primary tubing/lumen vendor.

Strengths: prides themselves in clean manufacturing, product finishing, technology development with all facilities being ISO certified. phenomenal high quality lumen and they have been our vendor for this specific product for years

We've sourced from Putnam Plastics for some time now. Ever since we introduced or reduced pricing product line we needed to find a way to reduce cost while still maintaining high quality. Putnam was able to help us with that by providing high strength, high quality components for our products that met our specifications for use. Overall the relationship has been great. Ordering is straightforward and the service department is always willing to help out. Would give them thumbs up.

We use Putnam quite extensively to produce very thin wall extrusions and they are able to hold tight tolerances. They also have a very responive quality group that can resolve quality issues very quickly. Overall, I would recomend Putnam for medical extrusions.

Strengths: Putnam is a very capable catheter and tubing extruder. they can work with a wide variety of materials and do some complex work such as coextrusions and multi lumin catheters and hold very tight tolerances.

We get very thin wall polyimide tubing from Putnam. We get samples of other plastic tubing to try out. They are generous in giving out samples. Sale reps are not only generous, he is helpful to help us find the right material for us.

We purchase thier Polimide and thermaplastic tubings for catheters and guidewires. We can depend on the quality and reliability. The flex we get with this tubing is essential for navigating the vessels within a body.

I used them to prototype some 4 lumen braided polyurethane extrusion that we were having issues with in house. They did a good job with a tricky extrusion and delivered on time. I wish the lead times were shorter but you cant have everything.
