T Mobile customer service has always been courteous, but there is little they can do about the lack of coverage they provide. Where you are using the service is always a factor as well so I'm not discounting that. As with any mobile provider you need to do homework and pick the best provider that works in the area you operate the most.

Strengths: T Mobile has always been a leader in mobile pricing. It is great their service allows you to make calls over Wi-Fi which other providers don't allow as of yet. Also recently they have expanded their product line to be more robust to be in line with the other major players.

Needs to improve: Biggest problem with T Mobile always has and always seemingly will be their coverage. Could be why they were so quick to allow wifi calling. I almost want to say Sprint has better coverage and that is saying a lot.

There's not much to tell here. The ordering process online has been pretty straight forward and usually my in store experiences do not require much assistance. That is a good thing, as the stores are always well stocked, clean and well labeled.

Strengths: Aside from a vast array of office supplies, Staples has a solid selection of toner if you are in a bind. Had a business account with them for office supplies. Ordering was simple and delivery was very fast.

Needs to improve: Staples doesn't always have the best prices out there. These days when I go into a physical store it's because I need something in a hurry. While the stores are conveniently located to suit these needs, I sometimes walk out begrudgingly because I know i overpaid.

I've had a fairly decent experience dealing with Lenovo. Many of the notebooks I have purchased have been web direct and most of the laptops through the phone. The customer service has been satisfactory and their tech support works with you to get issues resolved in a timely manner.

Strengths: Ive been deploying Lenovo desktops and using their laptops for about 4 years. The laptops have performed great and are easy to order via the website. They have a pretty good live chat to answer any questions you might have when choosing between different products.

Needs to improve: The desktops that I have deployed do not stand out very much. My company had an agreement with them so we had to use them. Most standard desktops do not differ much these days but they weren't great in any way but also not bad in any way.

For the most part it is great dealing with organized online companies. The order process to delivery is a quick, concise experience. It would be nice if the site recommended a shipping speed based on your proximity to what warehouse the items are coming from.

Strengths: Newegg has a big inventory and their shipping is very convenient if your business is in Southern California. Shipments usually come in 1 - 2 days and their prices are competitive. I have used them before for a number different products.

Needs to improve: I never have and will never like the option to pay for Rush processing. Sounds like you are paying extra so someone can read an email faster. Return process could be a little smoother but it is not terrible.

Ive received exceptional service with Apple. With Applecare I have turned in an iMac they could not fix and received a brand new model in its place. Also had a few malfunctioning iPhones taken back no questions asked and replaced. When you start getting into cracking screens on devices and smart phone problems not determined to be Apple's responsibility.. you often find yourself on your own in the hands of a 3rd party repair.

Strengths: Apple places a lot of energy in producing quality products that not only perform but look good in the process. Their innovation over the years has transformed their products from luxury items to must haves to survive in the corporate world. At one point they let other manufacturers make machines that ran MAC OS around the turn of the century, but since getting away from that, their product innovation has been like no other.

Needs to improve: PC's are like old chevy's. You have a part that breaks, you get something that looks like and and you are back in business. When Apple products break it can cripple you if you don't have spares lying around, and can break you if you don't have Applecare. Once you are in, you have to commit to going all the way. Lastly, all of the attention to detail comes at a price.. Apple products are quite higher in every area to their competitors.

I have gone into Radio Shack many times and given the person helping me an idea of what I'm trying to accomplish. The end result has been more than pleasing. This place is a prime example of a place you walk into knowing you need something, but often thinking of the wrong product. The staff is usually able to steer you in the right direction.

Strengths: Radio Shack has been the go to store for electronic components for the last 30 years. Even with the rise of the internet, it has always been a place you can walk into and say "I need this." More often than not I have walked out with the part I needed or something I didn't know what I would need to get what I want done. Customer service has always been great.

Needs to improve: Store sizes are dwindling in size and are becoming more sparse. For the most part though, no complaints.

On the peripheral end satisfaction is high. Keyboards and mice have been exceptional. We run all of our video conferencing with the c910 web camera which is still great even if not the latest and greatest. Still also love the Z906 speaker system as well.. These are products that are used all day every day.. It's important the keyboards click the right way, the mice feel the right way. I've never had to deal with support or customer service regarding any of these items. Only with the cameras, which was covered in the last section. I have had to return one camera, which Logitech finally agreed to do after 2 wasteful hours of troubleshooting.

Strengths: Logitech makes a vast array of solid peripherals. I have personally deployed a number of products including keyboards, mice, ipad cases, security cameras, webcams, and speaker systems.

Needs to improve: Sometimes convenience comes at the sacrifice of quality. One product in particular is the alert security system. It is a convenient system that has integrated software, mobile apps, and computerless viewing at no additional cost. The additional cost comes in the price of the camera that is anywhere between 229-279 and has a poor resolution (960x720). There are cameras out there half the price with double the resolution and superior night visibility.

For the most part dealing with HP has been exceptional. I bought a DL 360 rackmount server that had a defective component and got a replacement right away. I've also had a SAS drive fail 2 years in and got a replacement no questions asked. Feels good to receive little hassle as servers of this caliber are not cheap. As stated earlier the elitebook quality has been great in my experience. I have deployed quite a few and had very little issues with them on a hardware level.

Strengths: HP from my experience makes good notebooks, printers, and rack mount servers. I have been using them for over 10 years and have been extremely satisfied. I have also received excellent customer service when I have needed assistance from them.

Needs to improve: Some products are great, some aren't. Their enterprise level switches were attractive to my company in what they promised for the price, but did not perform to our liking. We also had 4 blade server arrays which performed well once they were set up, but we did not receive much support in OS deployment and installation. One gigantic downside to HP printers is the cost of toner. In a color laser situation, it was not uncommon for one toner swap to cost 50 - 75% of the printer itself.

My experience with them has been satisfactory. Whether I walk in there with something I already know that I want, or something I need help with I tend to find their staff more courteous and knowledgeable than my average store experience. Sometimes it's still nice to put your hand on a product before you buy it, and that's something you'll never get online.

Strengths: Best Buy has done great in recent years to not only cater to the casual shopper but the enthusiast as well. It's a hard market to compete in now that amazon, newegg, tigerdirect, and rakuten are so much more convenient. That being said they are doing more things to compete such as price matching, and as mentioned, they have high end electronics and even housewares, so it's a good place to demo items if you have the time.

Needs to improve: Prices are often higher. They will only match amazon if the item is sold by Amazon. the last time i tried to price match on something sold by another vendor and fulfilled by Amazon they would not honor. And even with price matching, its attractive, but again time is everything these days and going through that takes time. Had a brief experience with the Geek Squad. Their prices are ridiculous.

Walmart has a vast array of products. You don't go there to be waited on or pampered. You go there because you need something and they have a vast inventory. I'd be more disappointed obviously if they did not have what I needed verses having pristine aisles and no selection.

Strengths: Walmart is a great place to go when you are in a bind and just need "That Item." Sometimes the red tape of corporate accounts, 30 day net, and shipping don't get it done. If it's something you need in a hurry, whether it be a peripheral or some office supplies, it's a good chance they will have it.

Needs to improve: You have to know exactly what you are looking for. Many times asking the opinions of staff at the store gets you nowhere. Going in the afternoon sometimes the aisles are chaos.

I thought their shipping could not get any better.. but now I've gotten things same day, on sundays.. it has been amazing.. The returns process is also super simplified. One time an item was assumed taken as it could not be accounted for.. they replaced it for free.

Strengths: Amazon has everything.. It has really become a one stop shop for almost anything

Needs to improve: Slightly losing their edge on pricing

Service and selection are great. You can save big on cabling which is huge.

Strengths: Monoprice has almost everything you need at at prices that are insane. If I order before 2PM i get all the items i ordered delivered next day.

Needs to improve: Some of the products I have ordered over the years have not performed.. but that is a rare occurrence.

We were able to place the order with our rep easily and setting up a premier account made it easier to reorder.

Strengths: Dell is great for buying in bulk and getting the systems to you quickly.

Needs to improve: Sometimes support takes a while to get to, but they rarely need to be contacted.

AT&T has made great strides in the past few years with customer care. CSR staff is knowledgeable, courteous and quick to resolve issues.

Strengths: AT&T wireless made it easy to deploy multiple phones to staff. One of the phones had a defective sim card and they took care of it quickly. Service was great in our area, and was quick and simple to set key people up with international access.

Needs to improve: insurance replacements took a little longer than I would like but is decent
