Great systems, experienced operator is a must!

Strengths: Highly accurate with measuring such critical components. We have three CMM Systems (1 manual and 2 automated), and it produces fast results all time.

Needs to improve: Price Price and Price! However, you cant complain when patients are using our end product assembly.

Overall great and trendy product (iPad)

Strengths: The iPad is very convenient and portable when walking around our huge facility to take notes. Our facilities managers uses this to do so.

Needs to improve: Not as compatible as an Android or Windows based PC.

Excellent service and the drivers are regulars who know our names.

Strengths: Very quick, with on-time delivery. We use this vendor to ship small spare parts to our clinics around the US.

Needs to improve: Big name, big price..

Reliable overall. Easy to replace and easy to find replacement parts.

Strengths: Well known power tool brand. About 90% of our electric screwdrivers are Dewalt. Excellent tool and easy to use.

Needs to improve: We also use other competitor tools (at same price) with more features such as torque control. Dewalt does not do this, but if it is capable, it more pricey.

Still great service, cant think of any other competitors..

Strengths: Accurate time clock system. All of the non-salary employees use this system. All the exempt employees still use this to track their paid time off hours.

Needs to improve: Company is set to 7 minutes on time and over 8 minutes is 15 minutes overtime. Not good when trying to budget an accurate workload.

Great reliable resource..

Strengths: Very reliable vendor. Number one PCB component supply company we go through.

Needs to improve: Out of state (not in California) so components take awhile to get to us.

Okay service. Slow at times.

Strengths: I believe this company has recently changed its name to Oncore. They provide about 90% of our circuit boards. Very trusting and easy to work with company. We purchased ICTesters so they can test 100% of the boards they produce for us. This in return, provides us with dock to stock materials, ready for assembly.

Needs to improve: Prices are getting expensive with Oncore. They are not producing fast enough with our ongoing high volume needs. Having a second vendor is a must.

Great when you need a part you cant find in any big name retailers.

Strengths: Convenient due to the many stores in the surrounding area. Great audio/video supplies and PCB components.

Needs to improve: Expensive. I had to purchase LEDs for our test equipment at work. The store manager actually told me online websites have cheaper deals.

Great quick service, especially when you drive to their store to purchase products.

Strengths: If you live in the Bay Area and are in need of electronic parts, Fry's has it all. Many of their products are made in locally (Silicon Valley), which in turn, provides some of the cheapest prices on-hand compared to buying online. We use Fry's when we have electronic test equipment failure and are in need of a part ASAP.

Needs to improve: Since many parts are made locally and cheap, its hard to determine the reliability of their products.

Great secure purchases!

Strengths: Very secure for purchasing potentially new products online.

Needs to improve: Does not work or not needed for well established vendors.

Great electronics at a mid-ranged price. More established than generic brands.

Strengths: Great quality from a personal perspective. We use purchased 60+ inch TV's for our conference rooms. Have yet to see how long they last at a constant/industrial use.

Needs to improve: Somewhat unknown about the lifespan of their TVs.

Still produces great products.

Strengths: Well known standard toilet and faucet company. Not only used in the newly renovated bathrooms at work, but have also seen in restaurants and home use.

Needs to improve: Gasket for our sensor faucets have worn down in less than 6 months. Water has poured out in drops. This happened to 2 of 2 faucets in our office restroom.

Great product, good soldering tool.

Strengths: We use a METCAL desoldering/soldering machine with is made by OK International. It is one of our better soldering tool next to Weller. Very cost friendly and meets our ISO standard (electrical current spec) for use with medical equipment.

Needs to improve: Soldering pencil can get defective after awhile. Soldering tips are sometime hard to find (we use only authorized vendors to purchase tools/equipment).

Great products!

Strengths: Their products provide more options than the major brand name computer companies (Dell is what we go through). I personally ordered a Logitech mouse and keyboard because I wasn't satisfied with my standard Dell mouse and keyboard at work.

Needs to improve: Price, of course. For companies like mine, its more of a luxury to order from Logitech (Dell and HP provide same equipment as a standard, but lower quality).

Excellent product. Double-sided tape is extra strong. Packing tape is way sturdier than off name brands.

Strengths: Probably the only adhesive product I would trust on our equipment and machine. VERY established and trusting adhesive (tape) company.

Needs to improve: Price. Well known company can charge premium prices. You get what you pay for though =)

Okay service. Might not be able to manage a larger facility such as ours.

Strengths: We use Terminex for our huge medical device manufacture facility. Its a big name pest control service, so they SHOULD be providing top quality service, especially for the products we manufacture. We have pest control boxes every 40ft along the perimeter of the building, inside and out.

Needs to improve: I have complained about a black widows nest by our dock to the Terminex guy. He said he would check it out, but he never did (since I am not the facilities personnel). For something as poisonous as a Black Widow Spider, I assumed he would of taken care of it.

Great speedy tester and great alternative to flying probe testers.

Strengths: My company has been using Teradyne In-circuit Test stations for 20+ years now. Great way to electrically test printed circuit boards. We also have purchased these $250k machines for our off-site stuffing house to test our boards 100%.

Needs to improve: Board fixtures is an additional charge. These must be programmed at our facility to ensure the right electrical components are tested and passed within specs. Very time consuming.

Great product, expensive. This product is geared towards home/personal use. Not recommended for a high volume manufacturing facility.

Strengths: Excellent "Crafts"manship. Provides lifetime warranty, which is great, but there are many no-name brands that provide the same type warranty. We tried using this for my company, but it costs a FORTUNE to provide small tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, nut drivers) to an assembly staff of 100+.

Needs to improve: Price, price, and price. We have found more affordable tool brands that provide lifetime warranties.

Great product. First found out about it from work. I think its is worthy of home use in replacement of Krazy Glue.

Strengths: Thee strongest glue I have every used. First used it at my company to heatsinks on to PCboards, Did not realize it is stronger than Krazy Glue! Great for bonding plastics together.

Needs to improve: No weakness. Just make sure to use gloves when handling.

Great meters. Battery replacement is less than a year if used frequently.

Strengths: Very well known and trusting brand. Our company purchases some multimeters from Fluke for random electrical testing. However, it is the ONLY brand our technicians and engineers use for volt meters.

Needs to improve: It can get expensive for the more elaborate models.
