Frys Electronics

Fry's has very good prices are various components and products. You can browse through their selection for a very long time and get sucked into their store. We try to buy commodity items from Fry's since prices are cheap. I would not buy big ticket items unless the price was significantly lower vs competitors. But overall they are a good cheap place to buy from.

Strengths: Great prices and wide selection of various products. They have everything!

Needs to improve: Customer services is weak and return process is slow

Normally excellent. I can get lost browsing the the aisles and aisles of electronic craziness they supply. They stock most of everything and they are sometimes your only option if you need something right now.

Strengths: Fry's is your local electronic's depot. They've taken what Radio Shack used to do and have addressed that need by creating a huge super store of all things electronics.

Needs to improve: Fry's have limited locations scattered throughout the US west coast, Arizona and Texas. Since moving to the east coast I miss Fry's.

Recently had to get some items for our lab...wen to Fry's thinking that they would would have the needed items. When I arrived, the items were either open boxes, returned or not stocked. They need to reassess their quality

Strengths: Local stores make it very convenient to make a quick run to get needed items

Needs to improve: poor inventory pif items; plenty of returned merchandise make their way back to the shelves. Staff are not very friendly and not the brightest

whenever I'm in need of quick electronic equipment for the lab or batteries for power drills and or multi meters and thermometers I head down the road to the nearest fry's electronics. they always have what I need and have it in huge volumes. if it weren't for fry's electronics, some of my nights in the lab wouldn't go as smooth. they are always a reliable source.

Needs to improve: sometime parking is hard to find

We usually go to Fry's whenever we need a part in a hurry. You had better make sure that you or someone from your office knows what to get because the staff at Fry's are useless; no help at all. The shelves at some locations are bare or oare stocked with returned product. Beware of the large white label when shopping.

Even though buying on line is cheaper, we buy a lot of our video system accessories and batteries because most of the time we need them right away and one of the Fry's is less than 1 mile from us. Most of the time customer service is helpful and the check out lines are reasonable.

Strengths: Convenient electronic store. Variety computer accessories and video system. Helpful customer most of the time.

Needs to improve: Some price tags are over price compare to other online store.

Frys is a mad house, oftentimes for a good reason. Our company procures components on demand and we find ourselves stopping by Frys to pick up what we need. It's chaos because of the competitive pricing and as such, it may take a while to flag down a rep. However, if you do find a good deal, the products they offer are quality assured and ultimately, offer value and convenience.

Came in to look at headphones for my niece, approached by customer associate and he provided me with the information I needed to make a good choice between different brands.

Strengths: Has everything you need for electronics. Good customer service, sales associates are very knowledgable with the products.

Needs to improve: Sometimes they have a product on display as a sale item, went back to the store the next week the display was gone. Thought the sale item would've been there a little longer.

They have all the components we needed to install security system in our office. It's a big place. You just have to know where to look. Also, some items are refurbished so be knowledgeable

We are very loyal to Frys Electronics because they meet our needs in our company. They deliver the products ahead of time.. They have a very wide selections of computer peripherals. Their staffs are well knowledgeable and highly motivated professional when dealing with us.

Strengths: A big-box store and retailer of software, consumer electronics, computer hardware, with in-store computer repair and custom computer building services and household appliances with a chain of superstores. Very professional, highly motivated and well knowledgeable employees.

Needs to improve: none

We're lucky to have Frys Electronics local to us. They're a great retail store that we can rely on for electronic components. As long as you stick with a brand you can trust you will be okay. Frys carries a lot of factory direct parts that do not have the quality control as some other companies. Be mindful of that and you're golden.

Fry's can be an engineers best friend when in a bind. They are a local company just a fee blocks away from use and they have save my butt on multiple occasions. When you need that certain part and your vendor can't deliver it to you just head down to your local Fry's electronics and they can take card of you.

Frys is a great place whenever you need elctronics ata good price. Bought cameras and othe electronics from them for office use and had a hard time to return or exchange it. GOOD but not very good.

Good place to get electronics if you're in a bind and there is a local store.

Strengths: Can browse online, reserve for store pick-up, and purchase on the same day without having to search aimlessly in the store.

Needs to improve: Purchases made online (such as laptops) cannot be returned in store. They have to be shipped back, but they do not charge a restocking fee for these online purchases.

We a small startup and we often source our components and power tools needs from the local Fry's. It's close, convenient and easy to order from. Being that it's so large, it's often hard to get quality service but we know what we need and where to find it. Competitive price points and simply convenient. Will continue to shop so long as it's there.

Needs to improve: Because of the lax return policy, alot of the parts on the shelves are opened products. It may take time to sift through to find a brand new un opened package. Prices are competitive with local retailers but not against online retailers.

I go to Fry's for peripheral devices such as keyboards, mouse, monitor, card readers...etc. Some of the sales reps are not knowledgeable so do your own research before hand. Help can be hit or miss sometimes.

Pleasant shipping experience. Some sales guys can be snobby but they help if they see that you are serious about something.

Needs to improve: In-store return process can be a nightmare. Prepare to wait in line for a while. Why can't they be as efficient like when they take your money at the checkout?

Recently I was given a budget to buy computers, iPad mini, an Android smartphone and an iPhone. While the options and selections were great (I bought 2 laptops, an iPhone 5, iPad mini and a Galaxy S3) the prices were high compared to online vendors and the speed of service was slow. Overall it was a decent experience.

Strengths: Convenience, options, proximity, service.

Needs to improve: Pricing.

Frys has a huge selection of products. They have a good selection of products and ship products quickly. There website is easy to navigate and make purchases. They have competitive price points and simply convenient. Customer service representatives for our area is always checking if there's anything we need and inform us on latest products or services.
